Orio North America leaders traveled to the Windy City last month to sponsor two key management conferences. The 2016 FenderBender and the 2016 Ratchet + Wrench Management Conferences were both held in Chicago and brought together hundreds of professionals from the auto care industry. Multiple educational sessions and panel discussions offered conference attendees operational and customer-focused strategies for the future.
Geared toward shop owners and management personnel in the collision repair industry, the 2016 FenderBender Management Conference focused on business-building, including:
- The best options for hiring and growing talent for a sustainable business
- Improving a collision care center’s marketing efforts
- Understanding how an OE certification may increase profits
Conveniently located at the same hotel as the FenderBender shop management conference, The Ratchet + Wrench conference presented speakers and panelists who addressed some of the auto care industry’s most pressing concerns. Solving the problems of a possible technician shortage and potentially low employee morale were discussed as well as strategies to increase sales and retain quality-driven customers.
“In addition to carrying quality parts, successful shops need to find that balance of satisfied employees and satisfied customers. The experts here offered many ideas and best practices for our colleagues in the industry,” said Marc Russo, Executive Director of Sales & Marketing, Orio North America.
